He is survived by: his daughter Billie Babbitt (Tom) of Columbus; his siblings, Fred Newell of Ashville, Jim Newell (Sandy) of Rushville, Steve Newell (Pam) of Mt. Alto, Jean Spears of Ashville and Joyce Scarberry of Columbus; his friend Karen Bledsoe; his grandson Eric Jones Sr. (Betsy); his great grandchildren, Eric Jones Jr. and Blake Jones; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Alivia Rinehart, Phillip Rinehart III and Logan Rinehart. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
