Lois J. Williams Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois J. Williams (Columbus, Ohio), born in Xenia, Ohio, who passed away on March 20, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, L. J. Williams and Esther Eubanks; her brother Darrell Eubanks; her aunts, Ruth and Virginia Scott; her daughters, Virgina Brantly and LaVita Moreland; her cousin Evelyn Clowney; and her daughter Maggie Steltzer.

She is survived by: her children, Wilfred Jones Jr. and Elaine Valentine; her grandchildren, Douglas Moreland Jr. (Tonie Harper), Michelle Moreland (Jerry), Janika Moreland and DeAnn Williams (Avery McNeal); her niece Bambi Bowman (Enoch Willams); her granddaughter Collette Bowers; her great grandchildren, DeAnte Drummer (Erika), Derrick Thompson Jr. (Courtney Mullins), Teiron Douglas, Markell Jackson, Jaonia Dalton, Keonia Dalton, DeShay Mills, Daurice Mills, Zayaria McNeal and Quincee Harper; her great great grandchildren, Derrick Thompson, Romyn Thompson, Marleigh Drummer, Noa Drummer, Rian Hill and Mekhi Harper; her sisters, Anna Hughes (Melethia), Bridgette Edwards, Shirley James and Stephanie Lofton; and her cousins, Scottra Carr, Butch, Diana Eubanks and Earnestine. She is also survived by many other cousins, other family members, and friends.

Lois was a former employee for Heinzerling Foundation, State Hospital, Meals on Wheels, and she retired as an aide for City School transportation.
