He was predeceased by: his sisters, Hazel Ann Jones, Donna J. Hensley and Myrna Davis; his son Lonnie Handy; his brother Roger Dale Handy; and his father Dallas Couley.
He is survived by: his children, Dallas Handy, Ryan Handy and Alona Handy; and his siblings, Zuniga Kemmit, Melody Murray and Ronald Handy. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jerry Spears Funeral Home (2693 W Broad St, Columbus, OH 43204).
