She was predeceased by: her parents, Reginald Peterson and Alice Vincent; her aunt Lena Vincent; her siblings, Roslyn Johnson and Louis Johnson; and her grandson Christopher Gott.

She is survived by: her children, Melody Peterson, Vanessa Gott, Harry Wing Jr., Morris Wing (Cordelia), Michael Wing, Sheldon Wing, Geneva Wing, Lorraine "Tai" Vincent (Brent Pritchett), James Wing (Stacey), Damien Wing (Ruby) and Qelissa Shelton; and her siblings, Valerie Johnson, Ladd Johnson (Bettye), Glenn Smith (Sandra) and Tyrone Smith. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family and friends.
