He was predeceased by: his father George R. Cooke, Sr.; and his brother Robert Cooke. He is survived by: his children, Talaya Jordan of Columbus, Louis Cook, Jr. (Melissa) of Houston, TX and Lawrence Cooke (Tomorrow) of Columbus, Ohio; his mother Vera Gayles; and his sister Cheryl Gayles of Youngstown. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
