He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Elena and Carmelo Sánchez; his sister Maria Milagros Rodriquez; his nephew Juan Carlos Beltran; his aunt Altagracia Menendez; his grandchildren, Roshawn D. Banks and Chauntee L. Long; and his great grandchild Jason Michael Nowakowski.
He is survived by: his children, Angel Luis Sanchez (Pito) and Lisette Sanchez; his wife Flora Martínez-Sánchez; and his children, Johanna Sanchez, Linda, Maxine Sanchez, Jason, Gino and Gian Sanches.
