With heavy hearts, we announce the death of MaeDell Williams of Columbus, Ohio, born in Athens, Alabama, who passed away on January 18, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father John R. Black; her husband Dock Williams; her siblings, James R. Black, Ronald L. Black, Lorraine Deering, Thelma Coleman, Ellie Jean Jackson and Jewell L. Webster; and her great-grandparent De'Maurean Garrett of Huntington, WV.

She is survived by: her mother Ollie Moe Collier Black; her son Jeffrey Cornell Williams of Columbus, OH; her grandchildren, Shykara Garrett of Huntington, WV and Isaiah Turner of Charlotte, NC; her great grandchildren, Allynna Garrett of Huntington, WV and Jayda Garrett of Huntington, WV; and her great great grandchildren, Ahmylah Taylor, Shylyn Garrett-Lewis of Huntington, WV and Dee Q. Hassan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends who loved her dearly and she will truly be missed by all who called her Aunt MaeMae, Ms. MaeDell, Mom.
