“I am so sorry to learn about the loss of wonderful Mahalia. As perhaps you know, for many years she would enter the Ward Y pool, look about and proceed to hug AND kiss every one there...She knew each of us; the hug and kiss were for those she knew, even if she had known them for only a minute. Mahalia sometimes would sing a bit. She often said: " Well my name is Mahalia, you know". However, even she agreed that perhaps singing was not one of her best talents.I will truly miss my friend.Ann Seren”
