He is survived by: his father Marcellus Smith, Jr. (Sundra) of Alabama; his significant other Lori Smith (Brock) of Columbus, Ohio; his children, Marcellus Goins of Zanesville, Tyler Goins (Heather), Lucretia Smith of Zanesville and Travon Smith of Columbus, Ohio; his sisters, Shaenaka Smith-Beamon of Alabama and Sonja Smith of Alabama; his siblings-in-law, Troy Brock (Susan) and Michelle Brock Norman (Mike); his nieces and nephews, Anthony Smith, Austin Brock (Sarah), Jasmine Beamon, Abigail "Abbi" Brock and Kylan Brock; his grandchildren, Aydric Goins, Nevaeh Wade, Mariah Churchill and Jaxson Goins; his close friends, Ronald Harris and Greg Daniels (Kim); his aunts and uncles, Alvin Cochran, Anthony Cochran, Timothy Smith, Orvella Romine (Bill) and Sheyla Smith; and his mother-in-law Patsy Brock. He is also survived by cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Burrell Funeral Services (414 La Salle St, Zanesville, OH 43701). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
