She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Mills and Isabelle Holman Mills; her husband Vernard Thomas Roberts, Sr.; and her son Vernard Thomas Roberts, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Roberts Rose (Kevin) of Vallejo; her grandchildren, Marshanna Roberts of Newark and Kian Rose of Vallejo; her great grandchildren, Aniyah Roberts of Kajuan, Brown, Jr., Isabella Perrin and Ava Perrin; and her siblings, Gwendolyn Patillo of Altoona, PA, Howard Mills of Pittsburgh, PA and Robert "Bobby" Mills (Carole) of Vandergrift, PA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Margaret was a board member of his foundation, the Kian Jordan Rose Foundation, where she generously donated her money and time, assisting with fundraising efforts. She understood the Foundation's mission to raise funds for Hurler's Syndrome research.
