She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Beatty and Suzette Beatty; her sister Gloria Cundiff; her uncles, John and Robert Redman; her aunt Dora Payne; and her nephew Eric Jordan.
She is survived by: her husband Alphonso Guice, Sr.; her son Bishop Alphonso Guice, Jr. (Katie); her sister Marcella Dickerson; her great grandchildren, Zion and Zhuri; her nieces and nephews, Charles Cundiff, Victor Cundiff, Craig Montgomery, Lynne Wise (James) and Susette Gilliam (Terry); and her cousin John Payne. She is also survived by great nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Marilyn attended church at First Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio where she loved to fellowship and made friends with members who were kind enough to look after she and Alphonso during the pandemic.
