It is with sadness that the passing of Marilyn Smith (Columbus, Ohio) is shared. Marilyn, born on March 1, 1929, passed away on July 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Egel and Jeannette Egel. She is survived by: her daughters, Ellen Biegler (Chad) and Carolyn Parrott (John); her grandsons, Craig (Sallie Miller), Jeffrey Parrott and David Parrott (Lauren); and her great grandchildren, Corinne, Evelyn, Sutton, Bode and Hayes.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to Columbus Humane.
