She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Cruise and Anna May Cruise (Boring); her former husband Willard Eiler; her husband John G. Braden; her grandson Joshua Bell; her sons-in-law, Ronald Fisher and John Nieman; and her siblings, Mildred Cruise, Henry, George Kuhn, Bud, Carl Cruise, Ruth Haines, Salley Bell and Stinie Platt.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Fisher of Columbus, Nancy Nieman of Martins Ferry and John Braden of Thornville. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 32 great-great grandchildren complete her family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heslop Chapel (415 Walnut St, Martins Ferry, OH 43935). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holly Memorial Gardens (73360 Pleasant Grove Rd, Colerain, OH 43916). A burial was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at the Holly Memorial Garden (73360 Pleasant Grove Rd, Colerain, OH 43916).
