The memory of Mary Darlene Jones in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her daughter Aleathea Jones; her son-in-law Glen Mundy; her brother Ted Woods (Evelyn); her parents, Frank Woods and Margaret (Horn); and her stepmother Billie Woods.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Mundy, Errol Jones, Brent Jones (Tamara) and Jason Jones; her brother Gary Woods; and her husband Lowell Jones. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Maple Grove Cemetery (8865 Lancaster-Kirkersville Rd NW, Baltimore, OH 43105).
