We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2025, at the age of 84, Mary Ellen Evans (Columbus, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mary Ellen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary Ellen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley C. Stillwell and Jessie A. Stillwell (Locke); and her husband John Evans. She is survived by: her children, Elaine Gleason (Joseph) and Brent Spaeth; and her granddaughters, Ashlee Watts (Carlton) and Nicole Schmitt (Toby). She is also survived by grandkids; other family and friends.
