She was predeceased by : her husband Rev. Theodore Richard Sanders; and her parents, Robert and Elizabeth. She is survived by : her grandchildren, Darius Alexander Toney, Destiny Jenita Allen, Destiny Angel Allen, Aiden Allen and Ashton Walker; her sister Ginger Bob Harris; her daughters, Ginger Tonita Allen, Roberta Sue Allen, Paula Jean Allen, Cassandra Freeman (Lawrence), Theresa Wallington-Tipton (Scott) and Tersa Leigh (George); her children-in-law, Marie Hawkins (Gerald), Jemetria Lipscomb and Vance Johnson; her godson Darien "Joey" Coleman; her nieces, Tina Harris and Alisa Mbinakar (Valentine); and her close friends, Juanita Bivens, Venita Payne, Timothy Travis and Susie Corpening.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parkview United Methodist Church (344 S Algonquin Ave, Columbus, OH 43204). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Union Cemetery (3349 Olentangy River Rd, Columbus, OH 43202).
