She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Kenneth Applin and Alice Applin (Whitelow); and her brothers, Rev. Kenneth Applin and Juan Applin. She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Tyler (Kyra) and Corey Tyler (Marquitta); her grandchildren, Stephi Tyler (Cassie), Jordan Tyler, Sharon Tyler, Korrie Tyler, Kaleb Tyler, Antonette' Weekly (Christian), Daniel Carruthers and Corey Tyler, Jr.; her siblings, Wanda Oliver (Henry) and James Applin (Alverda); and her aunt Wanda Martin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Deb's Celebration and Events Center (5508 E Livingston Ave, Columbus, OH 43232).
