He is survived by: his children, Rabbi Avrohom Berenstein (Elisheva) and Natalie Berenstein; his grandchildren, Tova Rubin (Yossi), Yehuda (Bashie), Aliza, Yaakov and Raphael Berenstein; and his siblings-in-law, Rabbi David Seff (Kayla) and Toby Marquit. He is also survived by 4 Great grandsons, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Contributions in his memory can be made to Congregation Ahavas Sholom or The Columbus Community Kollel.
