He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Callahan and Mary Callahan (Mike); his brother Tom; his sister-in-law Beth Callahan; his parents-in-law, George and Katie Holzapfel; his son-in-law Tony Albarano; and his nephew Andy Holzapfel.
He is survived by: his friend Tom Scholl; his wife Jane Callahan (Holzapfel); his children, Michelle Callahan, Marc, Toni Callahan, Matt and Suzi Callahan; his grandchildren, Erin, Ryan, Colin Chancey (Anna), Danny, Katlyn (Joe Schoettmer), Casey, Mike Callahan, Sydni, Joseph, Bridget, Ellie Callahan and Gpa; his in-laws, Ruthie, John Fortkamp, Mary Allen, George and Ann Holzapfel; Patrick, Katie (Jeremy Greenwald), Graham and Mike.
