He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Castillo Gerlach; his daughters, Rachel Gerlach, Ann Fitch (Brandon) and Mary Alice Gerlach (Nicholas Hamilton); his grandchildren, Nathaniel Gain (Shyla Payne), Michael Joseph Gain, Emily Gain, Rebecca Gerlach-Hobbs and Nora Gerlach Hamilton; his great grandchildren, Legend and Kai; his sisters, Sandra, Susan, Shirley, Mary Jo and Beth; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy and Rachel Castillo.
