We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2025, at the age of 76, Michael N. Schaeffer (Columbus, Ohio), born in Cincinnati, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Jean Schaeffer (Silverblatt) and Bernie Nelson Schaeffer. He is survived by: his significant other Elizabeth (Hyman); his children, Scott Schaeffer (Heidi) and Lori Schaeffer Pingle (Jerrod); his grandchildren, Daly, Hanna Schaeffer, Sara and Ethan Pingle; and his siblings, Steven Schaeffer (Barbara Cooper-Schaeffer) and Carol Schaeffer.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Congregation Beth Tikvah (6121 Olentangy River Rd, Worthington, OH 43085). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family asks that donations in lieu of flowers be made to The Michael and Elizabeth Schaeffer Charitable Foundation to support causes that are dear to Liz and Michael.
