He is survived by: his son Nate Gilpin (Stephanie); his granddaughters, Isla and Vivian; his brothers, Mark, Steve (Grace) and J. T. (Kristen); his nephews, Zach, Austin, Joey and Augie; his niece Allison; his friends, John Rathburn, Rick Teague and Bill Arnold; his close friend Aletha Darding; and his pet Buddy. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins.
