He was predeceased by: his parents, James McGarity and Mary McGarity; and his siblings, James McGarity, Matthew McGarity and Patrice McGarity.
He is survived by: his wife Lauren McGarity (Tishkoff); his children, Trevor McGarity (Nicole), Sarah A. McGarity (Matthew Smith), Mara D. McGarity and Maxwell A. McGarity; his grandchildren, Connor Jacob and Mia Colleen McGarity; and his siblings, Thomas McGarity (Tracie), William McGarity (Michelle) and Mary Jo Wheeler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
