He was predeceased by: his father William "Bill" Phillips; his sister Delilah Ann "Dee" Howard; his niece Brittany Senft; his uncle Clarence Phillips; his aunt Crystal Phillips; and his cousins, Clancy Phillips and Amy Phillips.

He is survived by: his mother Fran Phillips; his wife Sherry Phillips; his siblings, David Allen Phillips and Sheri Senft; his children, Shawn Phillips and Samantha Ruth "Sammi" Phillips; his stepdaughters, Samantha "Sami" Morgan and Sarah Arnold; his grandchildren, Nolan Altizer, Jeremiah Arnold and Reina Arnold; his aunt Sandy Phillips; his uncle Richard Phillips; and his cousins, Carrie Phillips and Gary Phillips. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the South Chapel (1346 S High St, Columbus, OH 43207). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
