She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney V. Hill and Lourlean Hill (Milsap); her husband Curtis L. Truss, Sr.; her brother Sidney V. Hill, Jr.; her son-in-law Otis M. Phillips; and her great great grandchild Amirah Truss.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, William Truss Jr. (Junior), Derrick Truss (Gina), Hamidi Truss (HT), Ciceley Phillips (Cissy), Anissa Phillips (Nikki), Chris Phillips (Chrissy), RaShawn Truss, Brandon Truss, Charles Yancey Jr., Chaméka, Aaron Dudley, Trina Thompson-Dixon, Richard Quick Jr. (Bozit) and Maurice Stinnett. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren.
