With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Morlene D. Sanford (Columbus, Ohio), born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on September 22, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Jaffe and Harry Jaffe; and her son-in-law Randy Bank. She is survived by: her sister Gloria Katz; her aunt Pat Mintz; her children, Richard Sanford (Linda Konrad), Ruth Bank and Bob Sanford (Leslie); and her grandchildren, Hannah Bank, Jacob and Mollie Groth.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Morlene's memory may be made to The Alzheimer's Assoc. or The Columbus Museum of Art.

“So sad to hear about Morlene’s passing....or “Mrs. Sanford” as we called her growing up in Bexley. She was always so welcoming and generous to me not only as a teenager but also in later years. I’ll never forget her taking us to NYC in our 20’s which was such a wonderful and new experience for me and came just at the right time. Oh and of course we will never forget her famous coconut cream pie! Rest in Peace, Mrs. Sanford! You are loved and will never be forgotten.”
