With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Moore (Columbus, Ohio), who passed away on April 29, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Nancy departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Nancy. Though Nancy may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Oscar Moore and Alice Geraldine Hoover; and her brother Doug Moore. She is survived by: her children, Todd Franks (Teri), Tanya Schweitzer, Elisa Fitzmartin (Michael) and Justine (Chip).
During COVID she knitted 50 lap blankets as well as many hats and scarves, donating them to the YMCA where she participated with Silver Sneakers until she was 90.
