She was predeceased by: her father Joseph; her grandparents, Josephine Melchiorre and Luvanio Volpe; and her aunt Betty Jo Barch. She is survived by: her mother Paula Volpe; her brother Christian (Courtney Dunker); her nephews, Ray and Jude; her niece Sloane; her godmother Cassy Cassan Burke; and her close friends, Nick Misevski, Lydia Nordhoff and Kelly Wise. She is also survived by dog "Meaty"; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the Humane Society of Columbus.

“I was a client of Nikki's. She responded to my request for an appointment in April of 2023, telling me that she needed more tests. Nikki was my hairdresser, therapist and friend. . I moved to Colorado last July. Today, a strange feeling guided me to look her up. Tears flowed upon seeing the obituary. She will remain in my heart as an irreplaceable friend. My deepest sympathy to all her family and friends.The world is a better place because she walked through. Lee Hatch”
