She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph A. Cohen; her parents, Lillian Oppenheimer and Louis Oppenheimer; her sister Bettye; and her brother-in-law Albert "Buddy" Beim.

She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Newman (Robert), Sandra Silver (Terry) and Beverly Klein (Bruce); her grandchildren, Julie Goldin (Gregg), Matthew Newman (Mandi), Lauren Glazer (Michael), Gregg Silver (Natalie), Kevin Silver, Benjamin Klein (Adi Haliva) and Jonathan Klein (Julie Gibbons); and her great grandchildren, Ari Goldin, Talia Goldin, Josalyn Newman, Jordan Glazer, Elana Glazer, Nora Silver, Ethan Klein and Zoe Klein. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
