She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert C. Pickering and Elsie Pickering (Huffman); her husband Allen Mills Detwiler; her siblings, Dorma Ross, Richard Pickering and Jim Pickering; her siblings-in-law, Bob Ross and Hallie Pickering; and her niece Tammy Detwiler.
She is survived by: her daughters, Margie Sears (Craig) and Janet Lawson (Larry); her grandson Nicholas Lawson (Jen); her great grandchildren, Westen, Brecken, Lettie and Collins; her nephew Danny Detwiler; and her sister-in-law Patty Pickering.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Eichholtz & Daring Funeral Home - West Liberty (101 Zanesfield Rd, West Liberty, OH 43357). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at the Kingscreek Cemetery (1234 Kennard-Kingscreek Rd, Urbana, OH 43078).
