She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary E. Capito and Carl Smith "Buddy"; her sister Donna Houston; her aunts, Roberta Seward (John Crosley), Manerva "Teenie" Seward, Erma Lucas and Patricia Hert; her grandson Bruce D. Starks; and also James Seward.
She is survived by: her son Bruce D. Starks Jr. (Sherita Starks); her grandchildren, Ash'Unique M. Starks, Ty'Rese K. Starks, Saeviyanna Porter Starks, Zaevaughn Porter Starks, Tamiah Woodard Starks and Olivia Starks; her brother Dwight E. Turner; her aunt Barbara Seward; her friend Ronald C. Barr; and her pets, Pablo, Gracie and Chanel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at 2845 Austin Manor Blvd, Columbus, OH 43219.
