He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Phinney and Bertha Phinney (Fosnaugh). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Phinney (Weimer); his sons, Scott Phinney (Jodi) and David Phinney (Justin Boysen); his grandchildren, Alexandra Viox (Zach), Charles, Douglas and James Phinney; and his sister Jean Weimer (Fred). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
