He is survived by: his children, Joe Daugherty (Diane), Sheryl Uhrig, Teresa Lauritsen (Butch), Melody Holderby, Tammy Perdue (Bill) and Ralph Lindsey; his sister Yvonne Laxton; and his siblings-in-law, Rich Self (Barb), Jeff Self (Sandy) and Kathy Fike.
