He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Trapasso and Isabelle Trapasso; and his grandparents, Ralph and Mary. He is survived by: his wife Mary Roy Trapasso; his daughter Christina Trapasso; his granddaughter Amelia; his brothers, Paul (Lisa), Tony and Jerry (Teresa); and his siblings' children, Dominic Trapasso, Michael Trapasso (Molly) and Megan (Nick).

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research in Ralph's name.
