Raymond Daley Obituary

Raymond J. Daley, age 84, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, June 14, 2020. Raymond was born on August 29, 1935 in Warren, Pennsylvania to Edward and Helen Daley. Raymond graduated from St. Mary Catholic High School in German Village. After high school he proudly served his country in the US Navy.

Upon returning to Columbus Raymond worked for Simpsons Printing Company and retired as a Photo Engraver for the Columbus Dispatch. Raymond will be remembered for being a jack of all trades. He and his friends Bruce and Bill loved working on cars. Raymond also was an expert on re-upholstering car interiors. Preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Cathleen Farrell, James Daley and Helen Branson.

Survived by his children, John Daley and Karen Daley; grandchildren, Kevin, Tony, Michelle, Cassie and John; 2 great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends 10-11:00 am on Monday, June 22, 2020 at Heart and Hope Funeral Home by Schoedinger (Hilltop) Chapel, 3030 W. Broad St., where service will follow at 11:00 am.

Entombment Resurrection Cemetery. For the safety of the community, the funeral home is only allowing 25 guests at a time and the family is asking everyone to wear a mask.
