She is survived by: her husband Freeman Carey; her children, Cynthia Johnson (Terrance), Ryan Lee, Toni Lee, Wartime Carey, Monica Carey and Kimberly Williams; her grandchildren, Miles (Naja), Joseph Lee, Kiarra Lee, Kaisuana Lee, Kaydance Lee and Kortney; and her sisters, Lucille Cook, Marjorie Ragland and Gloria Young.
She was last employed with Heinzerling Foundation.
