With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Daniel Newlon (Columbus, Ohio), who passed away on December 21, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Viola. He is survived by: his children, F. Michael Newlon, Shaun T. Newlon (Christine) and Marianna E. Stillgess; his grandchildren, Kelli Rangel, Daniel Newlon (Tara), Sarah Matchen (Jeremiah), Joseph Newlon (Kathleen), John Newlon (Brittany), Jessica Newlon and Rebecca Newlon; and his great grandchildren, Michael, Sebastian, Griffin, Camila, Calvin, Harper, Bennett and Cassidy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Mission in Columbus or the National Down Syndrome Congress.
