He was predeceased by: his parents, Eileen Hartley and Walter Mitchell; his brothers-in-law, Jerry Follrod and Ron Woods; and his stepdaughters, Beth Haller Horvath and Darlene Haller.
He is survived by: his wife Ginny; and his children, Richard Jr. Mitchell (Kristina), Christine Bosworth (Christopher) and Theresa Reeves (Michael). He is also survived by Fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild.
