With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard L. Scott of Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on December 22, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harmon Scott and Thelma L. Kuhn Scott; and his siblings, Charlene Scott Lenser, Debbie Scott, Bonnie Scott, Franklin Scott, Jimmy Scott, Jerry Scott and Mike Scott.
He is survived by: his siblings' children, Tommy Lambert and Mary Rose Johnson; and his siblings, Eugene Scott, Phillip Scott of Lewisville, Janet Johnson of Croton and Nancy Williams (Bob) of Ostrander.
He was very proud of this accomplishment and began awarding a $5, 000.00 scholarship through The Columbus Foundation to those who read the book and submitted an essay.
