He was predeceased by: his parents, Judd Swindler and Bonnie Swindler (Day); his wife Janice Marie Swindler (Newsome); his son Anthony Swindler; his grandson Judd Swindler; and his daughter-in-law Brenda Elliott Swindler.
He is survived by: his son Larry Swindler; and his grandchildren, Christopher Swindler (Amy), Jamie Martin (Michael), Phillip Swindler (Tonya), Nathan Swindler (Kendra) and Brandy Foster (Ryan). He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; and a great great-granddaughter.
