He was predeceased by: his son Steve Tarini; and his sisters, Norma Schumick and Janet Capretta. He is survived by: his children, John Tarini (Penny), Tom Tarini and Kathy Ranalli; his daughter-in-law Nancy Tarini; his grandchildren, Andrew Tarini, Kristen Salmans (Rich), Antonio and Gabriella; and his great grandchild Paige Salmans. He is also survived by his 1952 classmates and all.
