He was predeceased by: his father Russel Castle; his wife Amaryllis Lee Castle (McDaniel); and his sister Phyllis Jean. He is survived by: his sons, Richard 'Rick' and Russel 'Mike Castle; and his sister Beatrice Sanders. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
