He was predeceased by: his son J. Eric Ashmore; and his grandson Sean Flanagan. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Ashmore; and his children, Gary Ashmore (Connie), Scott Ashmore (Kaye), Jeff Ashmore (Carolyn), Ben Ashmore (Cindy), Gwendolyn Flanagan (John) and Jonathan Ashmore. He is also survived by grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
