He was predeceased by: his parents, Isom Collier and Martha Jane Collier (Stepp); and his siblings, Arthur, Willard, Roy, James Cains, Ruth Berndt and Donna Sue Collier.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his son Rob (Jessica) of Lancaster California; his grandchildren, Roberto, Alondra, Jonathan and Ellen (Jesus); his son Mark (Mary) of Omaha; his granddaughters, Katherine and Elise; his daughter Jennifer Moraza of Bakersfield; his grandchildren, Taylor and Ryan; his sisters, Carmen Chafin, Lynn Garrison of Jacksonville, June Sammons of Inez, Wanda Mills (Lee) of Ashland and Becky Roberts (Bill) of Gahanna; Zair Morales. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Oakleaf Baptist Church (800 Oakleaf Plantation Pkwy, Orange Park, FL 32065). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Jacksonville National Cemetery (4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218).
