He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Cerny and Edward Cerny; his former wife Marion Palmer-Cerny; and his cousin Edward Kavina (Ruth). He is survived by: his children, Catherine (Cathy) and Robert Jr. (Rob); and his cousins, James Kavina (Sue) of Fredericksburg, Virginia and Judith Kavina (Charlie) of Wisconsin.
