He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Zahller and Ruth Zahller (Summey); his aunt Carrie Avonelle Summey; his parents-in-law, Carl Washburn and Lovia Washburn; and his sister-in-law Zoe Washburn.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Lynn Zahller (Washburn); his daughters, Christine Thompson (Matt) and Carolyn Frazer (Joe); and his grandchildren, Emma, Amy, Audra Thompson, Joe and Jonathan Frazer.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association in his memory.
