He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Geist and Elizabeth Geist; and his brother Richard Gerard. He is survived by: his children, Larry Geist (Andrea), Jeff Geist (Karen) and Lisa Politz (Andy). He is also survived by six grandchildren.
