He was predeceased by: his parents, John O. Lawrence and Anna Mae Lawrence (Somers); his wife Nancy Lawrence; his son John Lawrence; and his siblings, Norman, Don, Gene and Judy.

He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Carver (Tim) and Lori Blackburn (Bruce); his daughter-in-law Jan Lawrence; his son David Lawrence (Lisa); and his nephew Larry Lawrence (Lori).
