He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard J. Mackey and Selena B. Mackey; and his siblings, Harriett Ann Williams and James "Ricky" Mackey. He is survived by: his siblings, Regina Jones, Virginia Hairston of Spartanburg, SC, Thomas Mackey, Carolyn Williams (Sidney), Mary Mackey, Richard C. Mackey and Mildred White; and his aunt Medora McBeth of Enoree, SC. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and other family members.
