He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Peters and Sonoma Rickner Peters; his siblings, Joy Browning, Nancy Buergel (Norm) and Richard Peters (Mary); and his brother-in-law Neal O'Harra (Mary).
He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Peters (O'Harra); his brother Jeff Peters (Barbie); and his children, Anita Peters (Craig Marcus), Christine Reid (Joe) and Kenneth Peters (Julie). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the American Heart Association, the Grandview Heights Alumni Association, or St Patrick's Church.
